Cabo Ledo is a wide bay located in Luanda, on the Kissama National Park. It is known by the stunning cliffs that outline the long beach and by the warm water. A natural scenario that invites you to get connected with the forces of nature.

Besides surfing, Cabo Ledo region offers you countless Nature activities, which you can experience during your stay, such as a safari in Kissama National Park or a hike along the Kwanza River, the largest in Angola and which gives its name to the Angolan currency. You can also try recreational fishing or get to know better the region´s Historical Heritage.

Cabo Ledo region has a rich heritage in historical monuments and remains, which will offer you a phenomenal walking experience.  One of the most famous monuments is the Church of Our Lady of Muxima, located about 130km from Luanda, in the village of the same name. It was built between 1641 and 1648 and has been a national monument since 1924. In the church, there is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Muxima, which in the 17th-century became an important place of Christianity, as it was the place where Africans were baptized before embarking as slaves to the Americas. Every year millions of pilgrims make their pilgrimage during the Feast of Our Lady of Muxima which is celebrated in September. Some other places to be visited are: The Fostuir of Kissama, Bom Jesus Lighthouse, the old church of the Jesuits of bridge of Dande, the Archaeologic site of Ambriz and the ruins of the former residence of the Chief Guard of Bom Jesus
